    I'm just rewatching Justice League (The Animated Series from 2001) Season 2 Episode 19-20 'Hereafter' when Superman 'dies'. It's very touching to see how sentimental Batman gets over the loss of his friend/rival.

    What I don't sudnerstand though is why DC are making a movie piting Batman v. SUperman as it's never been set up in the stand alone movies at all. It's not like Iron Man 2 in which the 'Avengers Intiative' was revealed or Iron Man 3 in which you see Captain America's shield. Throughout the movies - Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America - ther are easter eggs that point to a metanarrative tying in to the enxt installment. With Batman/Superman there's next to nothing. I think this is DC's desperate attempt to play catch up with Marvel/Disney in the blockbuster movie department.

     dance Iron Man's wearing the Hulkbuster armour! Iron Man verses Hulk! What's up with Wanda and Pietro? Obviously they can't be mutants (unless Hugh Jackman gets his wish and Wolverine is in an Avengers movie thereby making the X-Men part of the shared universe which would open up so many story lines and should of already fucking been done) so as Magneto isn't their dad are they Inhumans? Are the Inhumans going to be part of the shared universe? Obviously we have the Kree ala Guardians of the Galaxy so one assumes the Inhumans will pop up, it'd be interesting if the twins got their gifts from the Terrigen Mists rather than having their mutations passed on from the Master of Magnetism.

    From what I've understood, they are not allowed to refer to them as "mutants" according to some agreement. A cross-over doesn't seem likely. Too bad. :/

    It's not even a crossover! Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch were Avengers for a long time and Wolverine was an Avenger for years until recently. Fuck, Marvel even reached a deal with Sony to put Oscorb Tower in the first Avengers movie to establish a shared universe with Spider-Man (who is also an Avenger) only time restrictions didn't allow it.

    Seriously, can you imagine the Avengers having to deal with the "Mutant Menace"?

    Good to see Jason Momoa getting more roles. I loved his character in SGA. Can't wait for Mad Max since I am a Thunder Dome child. Tom Hardy put a lot of effort into his roles so I expect the movie to do well

    Wanda was a member of the Avengers in the Uncanny Avengers which was published in 2012. While the X-men reboot there is now a void in the Marvel timeline which was once filled by the first trilogy. So a cross-over of characters is possible if not a movie covering the new X-men reboot with Avengers. Ultron has those alternative Earth cross-overs. So Ultron could be the basis for a cross-over without it being the use of all the gimmicks Marvel has used in the comics. If either character has their last name mentioned on screen it will confirm their origin. Otherwise it will just be a Weldon taking liberties for the sake of the story which makes it non-canon.

    So, Spider-Man is in the next Avengers. It seems I was right about my Inhumans guess. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has introduced a hidden long abandoned Inhuman city and the Terrigen Mists which I see Marvel using as a way to have mutants in their universe as they can't have "mutants" (unless Hugh Jackman gets his wish. Hey, it happened with Spider-Man...kinda. Different actor). Why oh why does 1:06-07 look so much like Wolverine popping his claws? Joss you tease!

    Since we have an Ant-Man movie coming I'm slightly displeased Hank Pym didn't create Ultron like in the comics as it would be a fantastic prop to explore his bi-polar disorder, and we all know mental health issues can add to a story.
