Jaden Smith is a good little actor. I've always loved Will Smith as a movie actor too. He might not have the biggest range or versatility, but he has a huge likeability factor and I enjoy watching him. He can carry big budget blockbusters, perhaps even better than a more serious actor might. Plus a sexy bod.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

Another interesting sci-fi to look forward to, from Tron: Legacy director, with Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman

I love Tom Cruise in movies too. I know I'm apparently not supposed to like him, but I don't care. I don't care what religion he is, as long as he keeps working as hard as he does and keeps making great movies.

Will Smith's philosophy on life is amazing. Such a wise accomplished and a happy person. I am pretty sure the dialog in the trailer of him giving advice to his son was his writing. The advice has will smith written all over it.

Just saw Django Unchained last night. Amazing!  Afro Stellar performances across the board. The plot was fresh too! I haven't seen anything like it in a while! I think I'm gonna go see it again this weekend. It was very politically incorrect though, so if you are offended by terms like "brown people," then you'll probably throw up on yourself, have a heart attack, and die before you're even 20 minutes into the movie!

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

They're being mean, making us wait so long for that. Bastards. Tongue

The first one was jolly good fun (although a bit OTT in places). Cate Blanchett is still drop dead gorgeous, but frankly Hugo Weaving, despite being a bloody good actor, kinda looks like an elf who has been living on cigarettes and whiskey for the past few weeks. Cheesy

Hugo doesn't really have the ageless, ethereal look you'd expect from an elf lord. Cate could pull that trick off while wearing gumboots. Woman's a friggin goddess.

Intrigued by the upcoming sci-fi movie by the Wachowskis, Jupiter Ascending. Rumoured to be the first of a trilogy. Not much plot detail yet, but it's apparently about DNA, evolution and higher forms of life.

Film I am most excited about is the new superman  cool2

But that's because inside me there is still a little girl who used to tie sheets or tea towels around her neck, balance her body on the back of a dining room chair, and pretend I could fly.

That kid in me could cry watching that trailer, because I still wish I could fly.  Cry

Also hell yea on the new star trek.  That's another movie to satisfy the kid in me too.  Star trek = good times as a kid lol

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

Many years ago when I was a kid, I used to have vivid dreams about flying, but it used to scare me so in my dreams I just allowed myself to float about 10 ft off the ground. I learned how to do lucid dreaming. As I got older they became fewer and fewer. The last one I had was several years ago and I allowed my dream to take me wherever it wanted to. I remember sunsets over oceans and flying between massive skyscrapers, the rest of it has faded from memory. I wish I had dreams like that again, but old age must bring about morbid, depressing dreams instead.

Pacific Rim. I would never think about joining any army, but if they had giant robot mecha warrior suits, I'm in.
If this film does well, I'm hoping they make a Gundam Wing film soon.
