    I first came to know what hayya was while reading on salafism. They usually try to police other muslims to observe 'hayya', like gender segregation or dressing in a certain way. I thought it was stupid then, it's stupid now.

    Yes they are Rhoeo. Some events might require registration or tickets booked, especially for larger gatherings where there is a need to organise venues or food etc. But everyone who supports CEMB is welcome, and you certainly don't need to be an Ex-Muslim to attend  Smiley

    I can't answer that asbie as I am not involved in organising any of these events. I assume those aspects are taken into consideration to a certain extent, however I'm guessing if folk prefer something more low key and with known people then there are various local groups that have social events with formal procedures in place to approve those who attend etc.  Smiley
