    hello everyone  Smiley

i am a 19 year old student from west london, i have never been muslim and come from a secular british family but have grown up around a large muslim community and allot of my good friends are and have been muslim.

i have been troubled by how i feel about islam for quite a few years after being introduced to it at a young age and i think i have finally come to a conclusion after allot of research, discussions and deep thinking.
i think everyone (not-muslim) here has differant reasons for not believing and some more compelling reasons than others, for me it is quite simple, if you are going to burn-unbelievers for eternity for being kufar you need to provide un-deniable solid evidance that islam is the truth, not some ancient book i can't even read, extraordinary claims require
extraordinary evidance which their is none, for any religion. i also have a hard time grasping how an all-loving god would create people when he knows they are going to hellfire...

i am always intrested in talking with ex muslims as there seems to be so few of you and am a fan of many of your videos on youtube especially hassan, great videos mate. i hope to become a regular poster here as you guys seem to be a friendly bunch  Smiley

Welcome! I'm new myself too, so I hope you have a wonderful stay here as I have been having so far. I'm not ex-muslim, so I can't relate to you in that aspect :(

Hiya. Make yourself at home. Don't freak out if Nessie starts sending you dirty PM's. She does that to all the young stuff. Smiley

Welcome monstart. Good observations about the ridonkulousness of the absolute obedience required by Islamic dogma. There are probably a lot more ex-muslims or borderline ex-muzzies out there, but most stay in the closet for much of their lives, unfortunately, because most Muslims make life a living hell for anyone, especially if it's their own family member, who thinks about openly declaring their skepticism or lack of faith in Islam.

Anyways, glad you found us. Hope to see around here. Smiley

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything
I renounced my faith to become a kafir,
the beloved betrayed me and turned in to  a Muslim
