Is the Qur'aan the only ancient book that contains only one version and has been preserved?

How do know the quran has?

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

What do you mean by version? By the standard definition of version the Quran has more than one. The Republic by Plato only has one version if you do not count translations. Of course if you count translations the Quran has more than one version as well. The Epic of Gilgamesh as well if you separate it by languages.

The oldest Quran is 7th century, which can't really be considered ancient. There is literature over three thousand years older than that.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

The works of Shakespeare haven't been changed, far as I know. Easy enough to get a copy of the original.
