  • Another Newbie
     OP - June 27, 2012, 07:13 AM

Arrived from a link at Secular Cafe, where I first learned of CEMB.

I am not an ex-Muslim, though I am quite a militant secularist and atheist, and a regular reader of Maryam Namazie's blog.

I haven't always been an atheist - at one point in my life I fell into a quasi Hindu cult, so I have some awareness of some of the factors that lead people into religion, and factors that can lead them to start questioning that religion.

I spend a lot of time at the Secular Cafe discussion board, of which I was a co-founder, and also comment on various blogs.

To conclude, I'd like to offer my support to this forum, and the CEMB generally.

    David B

You may or may not know me!

Hi and welcome to the forum David!

I think it's good when non- x- Muslims join in, gives us (and you) another perspective. I keep trying to get my bf to join this forum too, but he's too busy arguing with angry Muslims on the internet elsewhere. Ah well, he's boring.
