Peace to You: Christianity is a religion.... :/ No offence dude, but it's not like being a religion is the worst thing that's ever happened to a religion.

Self ban for Ramadan (THAT RHYMES)

Expect me to come back a Muslim. Cool Tongue j/k we'll see..

Thanks for your welcome! I do appreciate your kindness and good questions!

God is suffering with us right now. However, on the day of judgement he will bring an end to injustt suffering by bringing about justice.

About your objection to the 'he' of God. You are correct in your objection according to the following verse from the Torah:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

So God created mankind in his own image,
        in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
    (Genesis 1:27-28)
    -----------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for your kind response and accepting the fact that god is not "he" but i have problem with what god says in books..,  we will discuss it in time in detail

    Quote
Hence God who is Spirit has both male and female characteristics to a certain extent. For want of a better word God is called 'he.'

huh! "he" is abetter word for god?? Fe-male?Huh? or let us make some new words., Other wise there plenty of "HE" Rascals on this earth that they think they are born in the image of god..

    Quote
If God is all powerful and all mighty it would be logical that humans who do not share those characteristics cannot understand him totally and put his nature into words.

    Peace to you!

Well I am very peaceful guy.. But that word"if" is very very " Biiiig If "   Peace to you ..By the way are you saying "Peace to me"  or are you signing you nick at the end of the post??

You are very confusing guy Peace to you ....

    with best regards

    Why did God do that?

I don't think god is a 'he' or 'she' ,
    'it' maybe?

Now I do remember certain story by Stephen King , funny my memory getting fuzzy

btw, welcome 'peace to you' , I tend to forget things nowadays such as pleasantry

I've heard this before, I remember the imam at my local mosque was giving a speech about how it's wrong to judge gays and other people and what not, he's a nice and humble man, I wish all imams were like that

I remember seeing this go viral, it's such a fail, he's quite clearly Christian, you follow Jesus, you follow the Bible, but I'm not Christian  Roll Eyes

no thanks. Just exchanging one form of torture for another. Why not just do what you want? Isnt that the ultimate path? Rather than having one that someone else made up that works for THEM.

If it works for you then good on you but Id rather do what I wanna do and not what some cooked up half baked cult tells me

Religion literally means 'to reconnect with God.' Christianity is not a religion in that sense since God reconnected with humans through Jesus Christ. Christianity is about a relationship between God and man.
Sadly people have turned it into just another religion. The introduction to this site explains it well:

Why was Jesús killed for my sins? What does one have to do with the other? It's like asking a mortgage company to give you a lower rate if they can give a nail though your hand.

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

When something sounds confusing it is best to pray, 'God if you are there, please show me which way is the right way.' I prayed this prayer sincerely and as a reuslt ended up following Jesus.

How about trying it out yourself?

Peace to you sends peace to you!

I had a look at that website. Where does their sense of justice come from? Who tells them and us what is wrong and right? The moral law in each one of us points to a law giver. Who could that be except God?

Animals are different from humans. That is why we have been allowed to eat them after the fall into sin happened. But one day you can ask God directly about it, hopefully.

What moral law giver told me to have premarital sex? Because I see nothing wrong with that
