The chances of that happening are slim to none, you understand that right? that incest rarely occurs with children who were raised together because of the westermarck effect. Usually cases of incest with siblings who grew up together, involve something traumatic, or some kind of grooming.

We're assuming that nothing goes wrong, but they still grow to become "overly affectionate". That was the situation in which I was interested in knowing your response as a parent. Obviously if there's sexual grooming or abuse then the whole situation takes on a different complexion.
As far as the Westermarck effect is concerned, even a cursory reading of the wiki article shows that its really just a hypothetical psychological mechanism to explain how the incest taboo is reinforced, but it doesn't convincingly explain the cause of this taboo as there is not conclusive evidence in its favor. I mean all one has to do is look at the popularity of incest in hentai and other genres of pornography to see that there's no guarantee that feelings of sexual attraction towards siblings won't develop.
Also, I assure you that I have no interest in besmirching your parenting capabilities. I was just trying to see how certain ideals of people manifest themselves in the highly pragmatic situations of personal child rearing.
