    Hi can we have some kind of rule on links to the new chat, because there's already about 10 people linking to it in the signatures which is annyoing, and now even the shoutbox is being spammed with the link. I think everyone knows about the new-chat, you can keep spamming the forum just because no one wants to go on the new chat. Its annoying.

    Well it would follow, Tut, that at least 10 people are regularly using chat if they're advertising it. It's a new chatroom, if people want to promote it in their sigs as they have been, I don't see a problem with it. Just ignore it if you're not interested. As for the shoutbox, yeah I do think posting a link more than once in each visible session (what's visible in the left side) comes across a bit spammy. But so far, it's not been that big of a deal.

    Well am not one for censorship, am not saying ban them form posting the link. I think there should be some decorum to actually posting the link.

    Yea, the shoutbox spamming seems a tad much to me.

    Signatures and the occasional shoutbox re-advertisement would be better.

    What does it matter tut? Sigs are never great anyway, why let it bother you if some people post info in theirs?

    This place has an increased membership whenever anything goes down in the real world, or whenever FFI reflames a war, or bascially whenever there is some drama that would make typing ex muslim into a google search box, far more interesting to people.

    Yo people. Heads up. Your new "unofficial" chatroom has a security problem.

    We found out that yesterday someone registered there as Allat, and it sure wasn't her. One of the reasons we closed the official one was because of lax security and ease with which people could impersonate one another, leaving it wide open to confidence tricks to obtain information, etc. If that new chatroom is going to become a liability then we may have to consider banning linkage from the forum.

    For the record, I never have and never will go to chatrooms here, not the old one and not the new one. I haven't been to a chatroom of any kind since 2003. Nothing wrong with others using them, they're just not for me. I don't like their formats and I just don't have time to sit in them. Anyone anywhere in any chatroom saying they're me is being an imposter. Just putting it out there for the record.
