An advice for the non-tech savvy

There's a scam going around where people who say they're from Microsoft either have some reports that you receive a lot of viruses or have non-genuine windows key. Then they'll ask you to find out your CLSID which is not unique for every computer but is the ID for every application and then they ask you to check event viewer and misrepresent what is actually going on. I don't know what happens afterwards but I was sure to check on the internet by typing CLSID phone call to find some forum posts and I advice everyone else to do the same the next time someone unexpected calls you like that. And certainly don't give away your credit card details to people who seem credulous in the slightly, the same goes for installing stuff on your computer by the request of someone you can't trust so easily.
