I would never trust a Liberal from Pakistan, the identity of being Pakistani is plagued with radical Islamism. If a liberal like Benazir Bhutto can support the fanatical Taliban what makes you think this women wouldnt in the name of Pakistani interests.

Thing is Yeez, i can recall before the Yanks came to Afghanistan, Liberal Pakistanis would say ohhh angels would come from the skies to defend the Taliban, that didnt work out too wel, did it, and now these Liberals are on a rage over suicide bombing camps and terrorism, where were these liberals or progressives during the 90s?Huh?

Pakistan will always remain a land of closet islamists, no matter if they drink, eat pork, dont wear the burqa, they will support Islamists both in Afghanistan and Kashmir.

Pashtun, thats a bit harsh mate. I can understand where you're coming from in saying that many supposedly moderate Muslims provide rhetorical cover for Islamists. That is the case for Pakistan as anywhere else. No doubt that is true. But I don't think you can hold that against this lady who made a documentary about acid attacks, which is exactly the kind of subject Islamists and their 'moderate' enablers would try to hush up.

Pashtun I understand your point ., NO ONE IS UNQUESTIONABLE.,  but we can not sweep every one with a SINGLE BROOM.,  As far as     "where was she {{ NOT where    were these liberals or progressives during the 90s?}}  is concerned" ..  she was a 20 year old girl and SHE WAS IN STANFORD US of A  doing her masters .  Any ways we will discuss this., I am afraid I may not bale to change your views with one post..

    with best wishes
