Islamabad (CNN) -- A Pakistani woman is being held on suspicion of killing her husband, cutting him up and trying to cook the pieces, Karachi police said Friday.

Zainab Bibi, 32, was arrested in connection with the murder Tuesday of her husband Ahmad Abbas, police said.

Her 22-year-old nephew, Zaheer Ahmed, is accused of helping Bibi stab Abbas to death and carve his body into small pieces.

Police said she wanted to cook her husband's body parts so she could dispose of them without being caught.

Neighbors raised the alert when they detected a foul odor in the neighborhood, police said.

Pakistan's domestic satellite channel ARY News spoke to Bibi in the police station where she is being held in the southern city of Karachi.

In an interview broadcast late Thursday, she claimed to have killed her husband because he wanted a physical relationship with their daughter -- and said she did not regret her actions.

"I killed my husband before he dared to touch my daughter," she told ARY News.

If she's telling the truth about him molesting their daughter then I applaud her.

I read this a few days ago. It happens. I don't think they thought it out well enough, though. The smell, and the weight of the body are the main things to worry about. In Pakistan acid is freely available, such as sodium hydroxide, would be good to use.

Ya, it's disgusts me to think a father would try to molest their daughter. Damn she has a lot of guts and so does her 22 year old nephew for carrying this out.  Shocked

Looks like we have someone experienced here. Wink

You know, if she had just gone mental and stabbed him to death I would have applauded her if he really was after their daughter, but the whole chopping him up and cooking him.... I dunno, that seems a bit OTT.   wacko

The only reason she 'cooked' him and the media likes to put a twist on it, is because she wanted to get rid of the body, not to have a banquet.

Reading frequent news like this from Pakistan is probably what's made Yeezevee so insane.

I try to avoid doing so whenever possible.

It has been suggested that Bibi killed her husband because he wanted to have a sex with her daughter.

I can't tell what's more fucked up, the husband wanting to have sex with his daughter, the wife with a name like "Bibi" cooking him for it, or the fact that the grammar of that sentence is causing me to read it in a Borat-like voice.

jeees, how does that work. A person you once knew and now you are cutting him to pieces, to make a meal out of him.
I do understand her predicament; where she is trying to stop her daughter from being molested, but making a meal of him is a step to far.
