Christmas isn't a christan holiday though.  Its a secular holiday. Besides they stole it from pagans >_>

Eid isn't really fun for me anymore. My favourite part was getting up to pray Tongue

Yea, I used to avoid specially the first cutting the neck part at every cost.. But couldn't help staying away for rest of it..
Even my this visit to pakistan, I was sucked into cutting goat for my niece's aqeeqa.. I stayed away as much as possible, but had to help out with meat in the end.

There's a difference between slaughtering birds in a humane fashion by trained people and killing sheep/goats in a painful manner by untrained people

I still like meat too (as long as it's been stunned before slaughter)  grin12

So you are a vegetarian gay atheist Smiley  good on you Smiley

I still like my meat, I tried vegetarianism and it didn't work for me, I was hungry all the time unsatisfied, and grains causes me skin eczema...  so protein it is for me... honestly if I can be healthy being vegetarian I'd do it Smiley

    Happy Eid all

It didn't work initially for me either.. But it works pretty well now.. Lanterns and chick peas have lots of protein.. (specially the black chick peas, which don't have any term for in English but they are available in desi stores)
Also milk based and soya products have lots of nutritious thing. No meat needed at all.

Beans are awful for me, they give me terrible indigestion as much as I love them, I so love humus and falafel, but I can eat them like once every few months lol

All grains are bad for me too, including bread and rice :(  I wish I could digest those I assure you I'd be in heaven.  I drink soya milk, I love it, also other soya products, but they say too much soya is so bad for one's thyroids.

Unfortunately animal protein is the safest thing for me, I feel a lot better on it, believe me I have many many many years of trials, I keep trying and trying with vegetarianism,  or even fruitarianism , but my health just fails on a vegetation mainly diet.

Eid Mubarak, guess I will have to go to Eid Salaah tomorrow just to be a good son-in-law, my first time in over year that I will be making salaah. Lots of beef on the menu tomorrow  grin12 no slaughtering involved though, we hate fresh meat, meat has to come from a butcher or we will not eat it.
