Hey there folks. Also an ex–muslim here, from a muslim background, born and bred into the religion. It’s left me with a lot of hang–ups I still have to fight to overcome.

None of you were worthy, that is the undeniable truth.

Your braggadocio regarding this affair will be short-lived, you cannot escape death and what follows it, keep that in mind, O you, the reckless ones!

If being unworthy means Allah determing our kafir path, then even better.  Far better to be an unworthy kafir who understands that there is no magical kingdom in the sky, than to be doomed to a life of rigid inflexible, unjust rules.

Now now sulayman, we like to keep things at a reasonable level over here, we don't tolerate hate, be it from the muslim side or the non muslim side.

If you wish to show us why, in a rational and reasonable manner, we are the reckless ones, then feel free to do so, but spouting these type of posts is not a welcome attitude.

I hope you took note of the rules on the home page.

    Asalamualaikum Sulayman.

Can I ask, why do you, and so many other Muslims think that the thought of DEATH will somehow make people believe in Islam?

Does the fact that every living thing will face death mean that Islam is a true religion?

I know that I cannot escape death.  I know that I am going to die one day.  We are ALL going to die.  I could die today, tomorrow, next week, next year... whenever.  I know that.

Now do you think that the thought of death is going to make me accept any ideology as true?  However intolerant, unscientific, misogynistic, cruel, violent or absurd its teachings are?

Just trying to get a rough idea of how many ex muslims there are at this forum, and who they are so please could you add your name to this thread if you are.  Afro

My name is Ameen Afghan and I am ex muslim. Though there are thousands of restrictions and problems for being an ex-muslim in a muslim country, still I feel a kind of freedom and satisfaction.
