    yes, I have 2 punk rocker guinea pigs for my daughter lol but for all their mohican hairstyles, they are scared and hiding in the bedding area of their cage.

    I say avoid looking at the corgis until you get back. That way you won't have to wait and risk the one you've started to get excited about be adopted before you're even home.

The more folks refusing to buy these animals from pet stores the better, because then there will not be a financial incentive for them to sell them.

    Exactly, no ANIMALS should be kept as pets. You finally get it! It's pretty unlikely most domesticated dogs and cats could survive in the wild, but am all for giving them a try. No animal pets for humans period. The only exceptions should be for research and food consumption.

    Are you trolling KT? Domestic cats and dogs have evolved to be conpanions of humans. It would be cruel to kick them out of the human environment now seeing as that is what they have evloved to be over many thousands of years.

    That's why I said most will die, but we can try set them free slowly, slowly get them back into the habitat. Honestly, anyone who keeps pets, only keeps them for their own pleasure, its not like they're doing it for the benefit of the animal. Seriously, adopt a homeless child not an animal, leave the animals alone. You can't understand how I feel about this. I can't keep talking about this, because I'll just get pissed off, and I'll have the admins on my back.

    Not really, many people adopt pets because they want to help them. In pretty much all Western countries dogs that are found roaming the streets are captured and put in the pound, if they dopn't find a home for them within a few days they are killed.

    There are people that dedicate themselves to helping save stray dogs and finding homes for them, they fill their homes with 10-20 dogs and keep them there until they can find a permanent home for them. They spent a considerable ammount of their income on their healthcare. The alternative is to just let them go whereby they will be inevitably captured by the pound and then killed.
