All your prayers will be forgiven!  Afro
    Quote
ISLAMABAD: Shab-e-Barat, the holy night for forgiveness of sins and showering of blessings from Almighty Allah, was observed across the country on Sunday night with religious zeal and fervour.

All major buildings and mosques were illuminated across the country, while people also decorated their houses with lights. Special prayers were offered in mosques. A large number of ceremonies for recitation of the Holy Quran, Daroods and Naats were also held to seek blessings of Allah Almighty on this blissful night, observed in the mid of Shaban-ul-Mubarik, the eighth month of Islamic calendar.

Special ceremonies were held in mosques of the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi like other parts of the country. A massive attendance was observed in Data Darbar Complex like every year where devotees paid a visit to the grave of Hazrat Ali Hajveri, also known as Data Sahab (RA) and offered Fateha and special prayers.

Besides, a large majority of people also exchanged SMSs to their friends, family and colleagues to greet them on the occasion. People were also seen in large numbers at different food stalls to buy stuff for Sehri as a majority of Muslims will also observe fast on 15th of Shaban. People also offered special prayers whole night. They also visited graveyards to offered Fateha for the departed souls of their beloved ones.
