I consider myself a Muslim, though many on this site disagree. I don't look too bad, so I think that your theory may be disproven due to my existence.

Gaah, lol, like I've mentioned a billion times: the negation of the statement, "Attractiveness COULD increase the chances of apostasy" is NOT equivalent to "People who did not become apostates are not attractive". Your counter example only serves as a joke Tongue

To the OP, don't jinx a good thing.  Knock on wood, keep quiet and enjoy the influx of beautiful apostates.

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

I have been thinking this for a long time meinen Bruder.

I think there is definitely a correlation. I have noticed most ex-Muslims are hot and most Muslims are ugly.

That said, I have only seen about 0.1% of the Ex-Muslim population. I think we need a bigger sample. Actually, I was suggesting we compile a report on the hotness of Ex-Muslim girls in the chat awhile back, but first we need a lot more pictures. Please PM them to me. Thanks.

This is exactly what I meant.

My group is better, your group is worse, mine is prettier, yours is uglier.

Oh shit, the teacher is coming, run roland, run.

Most *devout* Muslims are *less physically attractive to me personally speaking*.

    Better?  Roll Eyes
  • Re: Apostasy and Attractiveness

How does devoutness affect physical attractiveness?  actual physical attributes?

I get that you mean to you personally, but I am interested in knowing how someones physical appeal is reduced by their devoutness.  Presumably a female would be covered up quite a lot if she was devout, so how would you even know to judge?

And rolling your eyes really doesn't help your point you know.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

Maybe beards are just the problem, apostates will be less likely to have them

I think you may have a point here. The beards do make the muslim women less attractive than their apostate counterparts. Same applies to the men also.

I'm not saying that one is due to the other, but I'm just saying this is my observation. There might be a third factor influencing these two factors.

I think for me, my disdain of this thread and this general idea is that its valuing people based on their phsyical features, and TBH coming online is something I enjoy because that ever present disgusting facet of life, is lessened somewhat.

Of course not totally, because threads like this appear, but in general its nice to be taken on the strength of my words than on what I look like.

I wish I could stroke my ego and appease my vanity by embracing threads that say because I left Islam, I must have been hit on by more blokes, and had more sexual contact ergo I left islam.

Would be far more flattering to have my decision as a woman to leave Islam, as resting on something to do with my mind.

But that's just me and body image, self esteem and just being generally fed up of the whole looks issue, will make me respond alot more scathingly to these sort of threads than other people.

    Carry on.

    To each their own ideas.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

Well, that's a pretty lazy reply. And no, I have not suggested that there is a correlation, I have suggested that there COULD be a causation, independent of whether there is any correlation. Please read everything if you're going to call it BS  Roll Eyes

I did read it, maybe you should think about what you're going to post before you post it. Honestly, it is all over the place. It takes less time typing bullshit then it does debunking it.
