Crying during Taraweeh prayers
OP
- June 29, 2011, 06:33 PM
Why do some people cry during Taraweeh prayers? I heard men crying during Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan last year, but I really couldn't help it so I burst out laughing uncontrollably and felt really bad about it at the same time LOL. Thankfully other people ignored me and concentrated on their prayer. I said Astighfirallah 3 times afterwards.

They cry out of the purity of their iman, mashaallah.
Either that, or 'oh fuck, another 20 rakaat, then nafl, then this shit again tomorrow, and the day after that...'
Before it gets too late, you will find escape.

LOL you actually laughed? I usually cringe but I do that when anybody cries , well there was a hadith where the prophet told people to cry as it softens the heart , and if they can't cry they should force themselves . Allah wants your soul.
