  • God debate at my college, need some helps.
     OP - May 16, 2012, 11:55 PM

My college is hosting a little debate tomorrow on the topic "Is there a god". There are 3 speakers.  The person representing atheism Is Phd Biologist and my teacher, a local chaplain will be representing Islam and a women from the local cathedral will be representing Christianity.

I had a talk with the moderator and he is going to let ask quite a lot of questions. My biology teacher basically said that he will put forward basic arguments and in question answer time, he wants to ask some though questions and he will press them on those points. So I was wondering, could some tell me what kind of questions should I ask ?

I know most of Atheist arguments and I can defend them, but I was wondering if anyone could guide me to an argument against their scripture or something like that. Help will be appreciated Smiley.

I'm not bothered about the "does God exist" question tbh.  I care more about disproving religion and "holy" books and so-called prophets.

That is what they usually do when it comes to questions about the moral corruption of Islam, the apologists get silent or change the topic. I am not that huge fan of debates about metaphysics such as the existence of God. Sharia (hudud punishments) on the other hand. Well that is their Achilles heel!  grin12
