    1. Are you a closet apostate, or does your family know about it? Your parents still religious?
    2. Did you have the fear of hell after leaving Islam?
    3. The nuttiest thing you've heard a muslim say.
    4. Will you marry me? 001_wub

Where do you see yourself in five years? I am particularly interested in how you realistically think your relationship with your family will develop. Do you think they will have accepted you more for who you are, or will you perhaps have compromised a little on your honesty and openness? And if you are living independently from them by then (as I think you will be), do you think this issue will be brushed under the carpet more, not only by you, but by them also?

Leading question, I know; but I can't help but do that.

On the assumption that you were born in England, how do you see Pakistanis integrating into British society? Do you foresee any problems? Do you think your generation will accept British values or will they cling to their Pakistani identities?

Do you think you get enough attention from the forum members? Do you think you need more? And if so, hoe would you attract more attention?

What are you talking about KODDY? Huh? what did I do now? 001_tongue

    1. Are you a closet apostate, or does your family know about it? Your parents still religious?
    2. Did you have the fear of hell after leaving Islam?
    3. The nuttiest thing you've heard a muslim say.
    4. Will you marry me? 001_wub

    1. No i'm not a closet atheist anymore, I came out to my parents about four months ago, and things are pretty stable now, I think. They are indeed religious in fact I would argue they've gone more religious since finding out about my apostasy but I guess that's just normal.

    2. I've never really had the fear of hell tbh, in fact I always believed that being a muslim i'd end up in heaven anyhow because of all the shit I was bought to believe that being a muslim was all that mattered to get a ticket into heaven. However despite this belief I still never really felt I was going to go to hell for apostasising, no idea why. wacko

    3. Oh gosh I don't know what's nuttier, so i'll just post what makes my crunchy nut nutty list.

    • It doesn't matter whether you are earnest, it just matters that you're praying.
    • You don't have to understand what the Quran says, you just need to read it.
    • Shirk is the only unforgivable sin.
    • By reading "inna lillahi wa inna ilahi rajioon" when looking for something you've lost, you'll find it.
    • Djinns will take over you if you go out wearing perfume/leave your hair open. (girls)
    • Don't talk while in the bathroom, the angels can't record what you're saying cos they're waiting outside for you to be done with your business.
    • It's a sin to look at yourself naked, or to touch yourself.
    • When you do a good deed, Allah is responsible for it, when you do a bad deed, you're responsible.
    • Shaytan pisses in your ear if you don't wake up for fajr.

Umm I have a strong feeling in five years time i'm going to be married. So this would probably mean that either my family have found some common ground with my apostasy or that i've abandoned them. Probably the latter if i'm honest because the way things seem to be going I think my family are determined to ''bring me back'' and quite frankly that isn't going to happen, and they're not going to disown me, so i'll probably end up disowning them sadly.

On the other hand it could be that I miraculously find my One true love who is from an acceptable background for my family even if he is an apostate like myself. I say this because recently a conversation with my mother suggested that as long as the family was muslim it was enough. Not quite sure why, but hey whatever, it's fine by me if it's enough for them.

Don't worry about it being a leading question. Smiley

why did your parents put black beans on your pillow?
I asked about that before but never got an answer.

I did answer that question in my blog 001_tongue you must have missed it. But yeah they put black beans in my pillow thinking it's got some magical powers to rid me of any evil eye or black magic. Roll Eyes

    2. Did Do you see any of the forum members in your dream?
    3. If you were given a choice to marry one forum member and live the rest of your life with him/her who would that be?

    rofl

    Such leading questions. 015

Okay deep breath .. here we go.

    1. Yes i've kissed many many many guys. I wasn't terribly religious when I was a muslim so I had about 4 boyfriends in my teenage years. I got to level 2 or 3 with most of them, and all the way with my current boyfriend. Smiley

    2. I'm not much of a sleeper hence why i'm not much of a dreamer, but if day dreams count, then yes i've seen many members in my days dreams at night. My most memorable (sleeping) dream was of Q-man, Three44, Blackdog, Kod, Dustie, Aurora, Jay, Berbs and myself, at a meetup, where we're playing spin the bottle or the likes; and I seem to be giving the lads a belly dancing/stripping show in a pub like place but it's on a sandy beach in the middle of the night, Three44 playing his sexy guitar, and the rest of them drinking booze and mesmerized with my moves. It gets a bit explicit so I won't continue, but yeah it turns into a giant Cemb orgy, and this was well before the forum got so sexually repressed. (Mid March-April)

    3. One member .. I wouldn't mind .. spending the rest of my life with .. whistling2 .. I don't have any one in mind at all.

    Why did you nominate yourself?

Because deep down you all desperately want to know so much about me, and are too shy to nominate me so I did you guys a favour. Afro

    So far these  grin12

    About your bf first:
    1. Do you intend on staying with your bf and marrying him? if yes how?
    2. Is it serious between the two of you?
3.Does he help/support you with your problems?
    4. Is he atheist, and a brit?

    About you:
1.Do you have any future plans?
    2. Do you think you at some point would have to cut all ties with your family? And can you make yourself do it?

    1. Umm I don't really know if I intend to stay with him for the rest of my life, even though he is the most perfect boyfriend any girl could ever imagine. He is the epitome of a perfect man. Yet sometimes I feel he's too good for me hence why I am too afraid of dreaming a future of Peter and I.

    2. If i'm honest I think it's a bit too serious between us two, i'm the sort of girl who is into open relationships, don't ask why, but I find commitments difficult and I am afraid of getting attached. He is the complete opppsite, he is serious enough to want to marry me right away if i gave him the chance to.

    3. He helps me overcome my troubles with ease, hes probably the only one to calm me down from a panic attack, he's terribly understanding and sometimes I don't quite understand why he's so perfect? I hate myself for hurting him, but I don't deserve such perfect love.

    4. Yep and yep. Hence the perfections.

    ------------------------------------------------------------

    1. Umm my default future plans are to finish my Degree/Masters/Phd in Pyschology and become a practicing doctor.

    2. Yes I strongly believe that I am going to have to break it up with my family, as they're already pushing me to the limit. I'm becoming more and more detached from them and I probably will be able to disown them easily, saying that, hearts and minds can be pretty unpredictable so you just never really know.
