    Look at this report.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-south-asia-13268517

An ISI official tells that Bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad was raided in 2003 because they believed al-Qaeda operative, Abu Faraj al-Libi, was there.

Forget the fact that it wasn’t built until 2005. In 2003 it was just a field. We’ll assume the guy got his dates mixed up.

Report on building of compound in 2005

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-13269579

The point is, are we to believe that the ISI just decided to forget about this suspected Al Qaeda fortress for 6 years?

And are we also to believe that OBL would move into a place that had already been raided by his supposed enemies, without any guarantee it wouldn’t happen again?

Logic dictates that he would move to somewhere he feels safest.
The fact that he moved to a Pakistani military town speaks volumes

Hmm.. That is picture is FAKE??

    Quote
No decision had yet been taken on whether to release a photograph of Bin Laden's body, Mr Carney said, conceding that the image was "pretty gruesome" and could inflame some sensitivities.

But Mr Panetta later said the government was in talks about the best way to do so.

"I don't think there was any question that ultimately a photograph would be presented to the public," he said.

An image which was widely distributed on the internet purporting to show Bin Laden's corpse has been determined to be a fake.

In a Time magazine article, billed as Mr Panetta's first interview since Bin Laden was killed, he said the CIA had "ruled out participating with its nominal South Asian ally early on".

I've read a couple of things about Bin Laden seeing himself as emulating Mohammed in a couple of respects, not just the usual Islamic sense but in a much more blasphemous way.

It is interesting to see that he too ordered  his wives not to remarry...

When an insular and conservative culture, constantly replenished through chain migration with a high proportion of first cousin-marriages from rural Muslim backgrounds, exists in a 'ghetto' situation in small towns and cities of a modern European society, with highly intertwined communities, mosques, madrassas and hardline literalist religious institutions asserting Deobandi, Tableegi-Jamaati and Jamaat-e-Islami style Islam, which is normative in Pakistan, but whose values and ideas about society are very much at odds with liberal secular demoracy, you have the situation we see in the northern milltowns like Bradford and other places. It is a very big problem....

Hence the necessity of closing down the system of "replenishment".

Pakistan dismayed at U.S. claim it was lax on bin Laden intelligence

.."How did bin Laden stay at that compound for about six years or so and be undetected?" Brennan asked Tuesday. "What type of support did he have outside of that compound in the Abbottabad area or more broadly within Pakistan? We're going to look carefully at this and get to the bottom of it all."

Another senior Pakistani intelligence official told CNN, "Yes, we did fail to locate him. Yes, we are embarrassed. But that does not mean we are incompetent and straddling the fence."

Am I the only one who thinks Pakistan was in on it. I mean if it was incompetence it brings incompetence to a whole new level

Elements of state agencies were and have been in on jehadi terrorism as a state instrument, right up to and over their heads.

Basically, they are like the kid caught with their hands in the cookie jar, and they're now saying they didn't touch the cookies.

The question it begs most is, who is actually in control, and calling the shots in Pakistan?
