    People wanted that. They grumbled when it wasn't there because they were used to having it on the full desktop theme and found it very convenient (which is why it's on the full theme, obviously).

    There's not a lot I can do to make it smaller, unless you fancy reading text with a microscope. Wink

    What will this change, exactly? Other than that, the gui is spot on, I think no changes are required.

    On the mobile theme? It'll change the looks slightly but not a lot else. That's almost completely custom coded anyway (very little of the original gui left).

    And if you think it's spot on, why aren't you using it? Tongue

    Actually I was wondering about ditching the linktree to save space. You know, this bit:

    CEMB > Forum > Feedback and Resources > Questions? Problems? Suggestions? > Topic: New smartphone theme (Omega Mobile RC)

    I'm not sure it's needed on a mobile theme and it does stack up quite a bit on a small screen.

    I rarely use it on the main forums, so I don't see why it should have any use on the mobile theme. Great for someone like me who has a tiny screen. Afro

    Oz, get off that lazy arse of yours and have the smartphone theme save in cookies rather than sessions!!!! Or alternatively let it switch automatically to smartphone if we are using a smartphone! I keep forgetting the bloody thing is even there because it keeps reverting every time I visit the forum!!

    I'm going to do it with browser sniffing so it is smart enough to tell if you're on iThing or whatever.

    Oh, and that lil' grey bar that opens the side menu, is there a way to make it so that it goes away everytime I go to a new page... kinda pain in the arse to click it off everytime.

    Not at all.

    The full theme works perfectly on my phone.  I have the sony erricson xperia arc, good size screen, fast.  Resizes it the way I like too.

    I tried the mobile theme, and it wasn't my dark page or worth it since this phone is da business.   cool2

    Alternatively, you could automatically switch to mobile theme on mobiles and then allow people to select otherwise and store that in a cookie. That way you get the best of both worlds and everyone is happy.

    Same here too, im using a full theme on my mobile, its faster than the mobile theme.

    Doesn't worry me mate. If people cannot be bothered putting thought into feedback and bug reports to make their complaints comprehensible and possibly fixable, I can't be bothered losing any sleep over it. Smiley
