    'Breaching the peace' basically means being noisy. It's not a charge. All you have to do is stop being noisy or otherwise you'll be charged the next time cops have to speak to you. For example, if you're having a party and a neighbour complains to the cops, that's breaching the peace.

    You see, the cops used that as an excuse to arrest us, but they could only arrest us for 24 hours without a charge, which is why they let most of us go after that. The problem is that a) you can only be held in detention if there's reason to believe you'll be charged, which for most of us there wasn't, and b) many people were detained for more than 24 hours without charge.

    Apparently it's very unbalanced (not surprising, since it's MTV), but I gotta see it to judge for myself.


    Who in the clips are you, there are several clips, first live journalist then 5 people interviewed. Were you the ethnic guy wearing the thin horizontal striped polo with brown collar chewing gum?
