    There's no longer a ping sound when someone types your nick, nor is there an alert when someone starts talking to you in private, or even a flashing colour when someone says something in another tab. Those features were useful, but obviously thinkfree doesn't care. Whatever, I don't like him anyway. I order Pariah to continue withholding sex from him until further notice.

    I think I know what happened to ping sound. Thinkfree once allowed colored text, and then revoked it. Anyways, we started demanding it back. I went a step ahead and started pinking thinkfree to give the colors back. I think he got mad and removed that feature as well.

    I think the font size should be made a little bigger as well.

    +1 on Pariah withholding sex from thinkfree until the chat is fixed.

    Btw, he's wrong, if anything colours SHOULD be brought back but not bright colours coz they hurt your eyes.

    in the meantime you guys might consider using an actual irc client like xchat, mirc or irssi(or even pidgin).

    also i don't think setting -c is a wise idea, everybody just abuses colours and depending on the screen background it might make stuff unreadable. if you want colours that bad, i can help you set up client-side colours but as far as server side goes you ain't gettin' them.

    This was disabled because it was causing issues for Aphrodite. But it has since been tracked down to a QT add-on issue with her browser, so I have re-enabled sounds for everyone.

    Tab text now turns red on activity and a sound is played.

    Never going to happen. It annoys anyone with a mental age above 12 and as serrated_colon points out can make text unreadable in some cases.

    Can't stipulate which colours can be used in that client, ergo all colours are disallowed.
