By the way, I think that exercises in whitewashing like this are one of the things that lead to resentment and further mistrust of Islam in society - amongst other things, put simply, nobody believes in the smiling face, and people know instinctively they are being lied to, and nobody likes being lied to and treated like they are foolish.

Exactly. She is doing Islam a disservice in a perverse way. Her "arguments" were foolish and intellectually bankrupt to the point that they were effectively dissing Islam.

Thanks Allah that she is not an atheist - I wouldn't want to have an ally like her.

He is a clear example that some people JUST NEED RELIGION... He would have converted to any religion that is observed strictly no matter if Islam, Buddhism or any other religion with daily rituals... Some people need the rituals in a religion, not the theological aspects per se...

that number is not some people., ., it is a huge number.. so we are over six billion and going to be 7 or so in another year..

out of that six billion more than 5 billion believe in one or other religious rituals on top of it rest of the thos who don't believe in religions and god do support these rituals without beliveing as they don't want to hurt the feelings of loved ones that believe in these rituals .

Now keeping that in mind., one has design ways of educating the folk specially Islamic BONE HEADS., that some of those stupid rules of Quran/hadith/Islam need to be completely eliminated., for .e.g apostasy or one must have freedom to convert from one religion to other religion without loosing head or Job. Within family people should be able to live with multiple faiths . Hence the political aspects and aspirations of Bone heads in Islam must be insulted when ever one gets a chance, in home, in streets, in towns, in countries and in UN and even if they hide behind a tree or rock pull them out and insult these idiots..

And WHY IS THIS THREAD IN THIS FOLDER?? it is such an important thread , it should be out in to religion.. I hope mods can do something with it...
