I picked no. Yes, I never had a girlfriend before (laugh it up if you want), but I'm not just looking for sex. I want a companion, a relationship. I also don't believe in that whole sex on the first date shit. Yes, sex is good, and important, but it is not everything.

Not a reverse vote. I wouldn't have voted No otherwise. While I don't think men are ONLY after sex in a relationship I definitely think that's the main reason.

I voted yes for the same reasons that Q-man stated... It is a very important part of a relationship... A relationship without sex for me is a No-No... like if a girl says wait till we marry or something...

hey I am confused relationship is a very broad term, well I will exclude all the family relation right off coz atheist, agnostic whatever that is just yuck, now as for friends there can be romantic and non romantic just friendship, now friendship can be very close but, no i would not fuck a friend, that leaves just romantic relations and if there is no possibility of sex at any time how the flip is this a romantic relationship. Although the question is a bit sexist as what about gays.

PS: non romantic friends can be upgraded to romantic any times and vice versa

the poll should be framed in first person to be meaningful. "do you have a relationship for only the sex". getting people to vote on a vague and hard to evaulate proposition like "Men are only after sex" is pointless.

You could date guys that do not have a penis due to birth defects or accidents, etcetera...
That should work. As in, you'd be 100% sure they will not want to do any disgusting sex with you before marriage.

I can't speak for all males in the world but i can speak for myself and my circle of friends. I would say we all started out on one night stands and all tried to become "players", we acted as though we were sex crazed youth (which is what we were ). Gradually over time most of us stopped living that life and me and most my friends just aren't interested in sex as a defining factor for our relationships, i would say we mostly seek companionship and women who are supportive and who are doing there own thing (school, career etc).
