  • Hello, I think
     OP - December 15, 2010, 02:14 AM

    Hey all,

I thought I could very well stop buzzing around the forum and introduce myself a tiny bit more properly.

I think it's only fair to qualify my stance as agnostic. (mostly)

As a child, I was raised by a Christian mother (not an actively professing one) and atheist father, in a school environment also (strongly) atheist (communist Eastern Europe - "no religion" was a religion). Through the years, all three became (quite) Christian. Cheesy
During my philosophy studies I became known as "kantian", and up to today I guess I still deserve it. There are quite a number of years since then though.

    As for joining you folks...
I admit I don't really enjoy mocking people's beliefs, but sometimes they just ask for it. Tongue I know I'm not saying anything new, yet it's scary - and tragic - to see what bigotry does to human mind. At the level of ideas, I can understand and accept strange notions (or I can try to go a long road anyway), but acting upon irrationality up to such degree as those discussed here is a different story altogether...

Anyway, I think it's time to say this hello, just so you know who bumped in recently. Cheesy

And as always here's your parrot...  parrot

I'm open for debate (of why we should re-/embrace Islam), but I will no longer participate in this forum. Message me if you need anything. Good luck and may you all find your way... again...

    What is" the Kantian"?

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

I think a kantian is a follower of Kant, a philosopher.

Kenan: no offense meant, I'd rather not share more details. I usually don't, on online sites, and specially on this one.

Who is Borat? (too lazy to search at this moment, if it's a former member, I have a lot of unread posts to go through Cheesy)

But seriously, I was hinting at the "reflexive" politically correct contemporary racism of your standard "western multiculturalist".
