I don't know whether to laugh or cry.  This guy is still spouting out such vile venom.  A lot of Muslims (as well as non-muslims) will be cringing at this guy's words.

He thinks he's a rebel, a martyr. He's a fucking troll and the media love having him on because he does voice an opinion people share but also because you know you're gonna get great ratings with this clown.

Is there any muslim opposition to this dickhead?

I'm sure many Muslims are against him, but they don't wanna speak out incase they get bullied by Anjem and his bullies.

@GodIsNotGreat of course he speaks the truth since islam is all about fascism , if the arab world wasn't so pathetically incompetent in terms of military force they would have tried to conquer the world already

    Bolded by me.

The bolded part is quite funny coming from a muslim on Ummah.com. I hope he will keep that in mind when somebody critisizes Islam, but incidentally, at demonstrations don´t they wave placards saying : "We don´t want freedom, we don´t want democracy" ?

The irony is that the ability to say such things is only possible with freedom of expression available in liberal democracies.

It's a two edged sword you get to say what you want to say but others get to say what you don't want to hear.

I actually think there's a lot of cognitive dissonance going on in the minds of Muslims who support what nutjobs like Anjem Choudary say.  Surely any fool can spot the blatant irony that deusvult mentioned.

Apparently there is a whole upset right now of br. Anjem claiming he was "entrapped" into saying yes to the fact he was encouraging terrorist attacks abroad.  Cheesy

    Quote

CNN LIES IN ATTEMPT TO ENTRAP A MUSLIM

My appearance on the CNN prime time programme Parker Spitzer tonight involved an incident which only the Muslims who were with me witnessed and which the world was oblivious too. I was tonight asked one question via my ear-piece only to realise afterwards that in fact a quite different question had been aired in an outrageous attempt to try to procure a prosecution against me for inciting terrorism abroad i.e. in the USA.

The interview, which was conducted in the London studios of CNN, involved a conversation between three CNN reporters and me. Those watching will have heard me answer to the question of whether I was ‘encouraging attacks of this sort’ in the USA with the reply ‘of course I am’. What they will not realise is that only the first part of the question was played to me in my ear i.e. ‘are you communicating with individuals within the United States?’ to which I answered ‘of course I am’ because the world of the internet is very small and that in fact I communicate with people all over the world to embrace Islam and to practise their religion. The ‘encouraging attacks’ part of the question was in fact never audible to me.

This guy is the ultimate hypocrite. Condemning the west whilst claiming benefits from it (yes, Allah prescribed those benefits for you on his bloody tablet didn't he Anjem). He must have a mental illness of some kind. He talks about destroying the very same "idols" of freedom of expression he uses to spew this kind of filth.

Lol like it is complete out of character for him encouraging terrorist attacks, but it is the Western media who entraps him into something he fully believes  whistling2 .

Entrapped my ass ,I remember him saying exactly the same thing on British Television a few years ago without any necessity for the interviewer to say anything.

I bet he's worried the American legal system will kick his ass which is why 'entrapment' is on the cards.

Exactly. To go from saying "sheikh" Osama is the leader of the camp belieivng in sovereignty in God's law to then crying foul when you get taped saying I encourage terrorists abroad and have them on facebook is just pathetic. You are encouraging terrorists just by saying stuff like shiekh Osama is leader of those seeking to implement God's law, it's already implicit in what you are saying and how you are saying it.

American free speech laws are generally more lax than UK ones.  He probably could get away with saying just about anything.

Why do they keep giving him a platform! Its like what Omid Djalili said in one of his stand ups - "For a balanced view on the Muslim world, here's Muslim Nutcase with a hook." Its like Al Jazeera saying "For a balanced View on the Christain West, here's the grand master of the Ku Klux Klan".
