Inspired by, among others, Danish and Canadian experiences a group of freedom of expression advocates in England have decided to create a sister organization to the Danish Freedom of Expression Society. The new organization will get the name Free Press Society-England (IFPS-England)  and will  work on the same foundation and with the same objectives as the Danish TFS – that it to say defend freedom of expression, wherever it is threatened and regardless of who the threat is coming from.

Chairman of IFPS-England will be the 47 year old businessman Paul Weston. Secretary will be Dominique Devaux.

Paul Weston, who has candidated for the EU-hostile UK Independence Party at the council elections in London, makes no secret of the fact, that he regards himself as a conservative of the old school. He is also known for his very blunt statements, like in an interview earlier this year calling the leader of the extreme right wing and racist British National Party, Nick Griffin, a Holocaust denying  Nazi madman who on top of that is stupid.

In a conversation with Sappho Weston emphasizes, that the threats against freedom of expression in England are serious and that they come from two sides. From Islamists, who demand submission to their particular judicial system and from the British Establishment who  increasingly give in to Islamic demands.

Is Paul Weston a well known public figure in the UK ?

    Never heard of him

I don't come here any more due to unfair moderation.

Correction Mr. Weston-- three sides-- you forgot about the militant anti-Islamists who want to institute state discrimination against Muslims. Conveniently forgot, no doubt.
