    And your point is?

You are deluded and irrational and therefore your opinion on this and most other political/social topics is worthless as valid opinions require consistent use of reason, which you've obviously abandoned.

STARSZ I'm not talking about only  Gypsies.

No, she's talking about that Christian value of forgiveness...oh, wait, no...she's not doing that either.

I know there are many in France who have acquired French citizenship through marriage or residency and many find it hard to settle and prosper but are law obedient citizen, the one who are not should they be descriminated because recently made French Citizen? respective to the EU human right it is really far fetch I understand the why, but the how to solve this, may be a legal nightmare and unfortunatly I don't think it will solve the problem of terrorism and rioting as many who behave like this were born in France anyway and as such are french from birth. Probably it is a bit of hot air from Sarkowzy to gain political support from the older generation. Wink

This is the legal hicup after how many years one should be stripped of citizenship if harden criminal 5/10/15/20?? The reasonable solution would be to delay citizenship until people are 70 and reach the age of wisdom  grin12 and physical weakness  Old geezer

Yes I am kidding my problem is that I do understand both side but I really beleive that most new citizen behave properly and Sarkowzy is gathering political momentum with the support of the older generation (from the small french towns) who tend to be very narrow minded and scared of foreigner.  mysmilie_977

Not legally but yes there are social and racial discriminations (as there are here in the uk ) mainly for jobs up to 40% of young from foreign origin are without a job not always because they have no education.

No I understand why people who work hard don't like to find their car burned when they go to work in the morning and why youngster who are never given a chance in the society loose it riot and burn cars.
     wacko
The problem with citizenship is: if one is given the chance to settle they should honour it, now without joking may be people should be given a five year residence before the real thing as a test. Another issue is what do you do with french criminal? where do you send them? to the US or Australia like the UK use to do with their criminals??
     grin12
a nicer note: I knew a family in France where the father was a factory worker mother not working both illiterate from north africa: Five children, all have gone to university and done well one is a surgeon another a legal adviser one teach at Uni one in secondary school I can't remember the younger one but I think she was studying dentistry what I mean is: there are people who make it.
