    Aziz

    I am unable to see pictures stored at the above address. They don´t show in the posts (only an outline and a little red cross in the top left corner) and when I copy the address from properties and enter it in the browser line i get the following reply :

    Oops! Internet Explorer could not connect to imgur.com

    Before you say use a decent browser FFS, I tried using firefox, but with FF I could not even tell that there were photos in the post, in other words there was nada, not even the outline and the little red cross.

    What can I do to remedy this ?

    Alright. We had this problem once with avatars. The problem lies in the URL:

    http://imgur.com/mAJpS.jpg
    http://i.imgur.com/mAJpS.jpg

    If you follow the first link, you will notice that it redirects you to the same URL, but with "i." prepended. Apparently IE can't load pictures if the URL redirects to a different place.

    There's not much I can do about this. I can't go back and fix all the links. But I'll try and keep in mind that we still have poor IE users. Tongue

    Does this mean, that I will be be able to see the pictures in the future (provided you remember us poor IE users) ?

    Bye the way in Firefox I couldn´t even see  that the posts contained pictures  Huh?

    @ Islame - You use IE too don´t you ? Haven´t you had this problem ?

    So Aziz, one IE user can see the pictures and another IE user can´t !

    Since you don´t have the problem it looks as if it must be.

    Ive been throught this before, and the reasons are user-personlity-work-specific.

    Cant be arsed going into it right now, and then having to "defend" my actions (like I did before)

    Suffice, you'll just need to attempt to empathise.

    In that case it's an IE problem, not our problem. We can't recode every image host on the web just to deal with different versions of IE. imgur.com and IE will have to sort it out between themselves.
