  • Just moved... Internet and browser problems
     OP - July 21, 2010, 05:53 AM

So, I've finally moved back to the USA and am settling in at my father's place but I'm having problems with my browser settings and internet connection.  I've already got my dad's wireless internet as my connection (which is how I'm able to view and post here) but I cannot connect to Facebook or Hotmail nor do many of the gadgets on my iGoogle homepage seem to be working.  All I get are 'Cannot connect to server' messages.  I've tried both Firefox and IE.  This is particularly frustrating as I'm trying to organise my birthday dinner for tomorrow and need to use Facebook in order to communicate with my friends.

Hope you guys have some suggestions for me.

I've also tried getting onto Hotmail on my dad's computer but no joy so I'm suspecting an internet connection problem.  I'm currently connected at 48mbps.
