I buffered the videos and skimmed through them.  I've already heared the bullcrap that he's saying in those videos so I really did skim through them.

Any Muslim who supports SHARIA LAWS OF ISLAM effectively supports death penalty to homosexuals.  Mr. Zakir Naik openly supports Sharia  Laws of Islam..

True, but we still need to hear him specifically advocate death for homosexuals.

I'm compiling a video of Zakir Naiks odious views btw.  Wink  Feel free to contribute if you have any links you can recommend me.

So far I have video footage of him:

Agreeing with the death penalty for apostates

    Supporting "light" wife beating

Saying Westerners who eat pigs behave like pigs

Supporting Osama Bin Laden if he's terrorising America

Saying that Western women are concubines, mistresses and society butterflies who are mere tools in the hands of pleasure seekers and sex marketers, hidden behind the colorful screen of ‘art’ and ‘culture’.

Saying that women who don't wear hijab are more susceptable to be raped.

Great work, dude. Afro  I might start compiling similar videos about various Muslim scholars.

I also have footage of him defending Muhammads marriage to Aisha (hence defending child marriage).  It's in urdu (from 6mins onwards):

Could his views (which he professes publicly) be considered incitement to religious hatred?

If so then Islam would be banned, probably along with Christianity, Judaism, and Mormonism.  The excused used is "I am just saying what a book says"...Isn't that what Geert Wilders said? Smiley

Bans are counter-productive. How about submitting Islam and all other religions to a respectful but for that reason exactly no less ruthless and critical analysis. This would be a way to show true respect for Muslims (and other religionists), to treat them as serous adults who are responsible for their beliefs.

And not as retarded crybabies who are unable to critically asses their own views and position - which is obviously something that "we" Westerners can. But Muslims cannot because they are "different".
Yep, BBC-like "respect" is actually a sign of blatant racism.

Isn't that what Geert Wilders said? Smiley

    Was he referring to Quran?

To diverge slightly from the topic,
I was wondering whether we should really use phrases like "I support your right to practice your religion", because what if part of their religion is simply illegal in the West?  Like killing apostates, or beating wifes, or discriminating against homosexuals. wacko

Maybe we should use phrases like: "I support your right to believe in your religion and worship freely".

Ofc. Why would you think that somebody would want somebody else to apostatise?

I don't see what purpose it serves.  Actually I think it makes things worse because people can still access his talks via youtube etc but no longer have the ability to cross examine him.

Yes, I agree. Myself and Kenan may have got our wires crossed, since I interpreted one of his posts as supportive of the ban (my mistake).

I think the ban just lionises him, and feeds paranoid Islamic minds with ideas of both persecution and conversly, supremacy (the whole, 'these kaffir know he's right, that's why they are afraid of him and need to ban him')

Yeah. NASA probably recorded a giant magnetic field coming out of Zakir Naik on the day but obviously won't tell us because of the Zionist Jews; just like when Neil Armstrong saw the Earth from space and asked "But who has hung it there?"

The UK is getting very police state like in the way it is banning various people from the country.  It seems to have started with Geert Wilders.  I wonder if it was their intention at the time to go this far, or do they have to go this far now (banning anyone controversial) in the interests of seeming "even handed".

Naik is very common surname of Hindus in the state of Maharashtra. Zakir Naik's family were originally Hindus who converted to Islam or were forced into it. Naik in the Marathi language means leader or head of a clan.
