    I've been here for quite a few months, but I recently found just a few days ago that I never had a "Delete Post" button. Why is that?
    I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star

    thats because you started the thread and it was the first post in the thread.  If it had one then you could potentially be left with a thread with no posts in.  (if you want to delete a thread, you need to get the mods to do it)

    The "remove" button is normally next to the modify button above.

    No, I mean I never had the button in any of my threads at all. If it was only in my starting post of a thread I wouldn't have noticed.

    i was wondering about that too, had to delete two posts i sent but just modified them
    and put  ...  where the text was.  Wasnt sure on the protocol on this.

    It's not browser-dependent. The display is set in php via membergroups. I'll check the permissions later.
