When is Season 2 coming out  Cry

For those who have no idea, it's a Starz TV series that focuses on the HISTORICAL (well besides a few things to keep it spicy, you know  Afro ) figure of Spartacus (Famous gladiator who was the leader of the slave rebellion in the 'ol roman days).

When I watched the first episode I was like "what the hell is this shit?!" But, I'm glad I stuck through the first episode and it became AMAZING! This is the only TV series I have ever followed  001_tongue

The show also has that messenger from the movie 300 who said this is madness and got kicked down that pit. I thought that was pretty cool.

This pretty much shows you what the show is all about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2CqtNeRK_w

Ya, I saw the first one and thought it looked stupid.
Why is it (in this director's world) always snowing in greece and everyone is naked...in the snow? Why are there 'bloodsplosions every time someone punches someone? Ect

But I got into it later, and enjoyed it.

    Me, I love it.   dance

First episode was a bit lame, but it got much better after that.  I can't wait for season 2, if they do one.  parrot

Apparently Andy Whitfield (Guy who plays spartacus) was diagnosed Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and is getting treatment. Not to worry though, it was detected in the early stages so he should be ok. The new season will be about the times before spartacus and will give you some background to the story: http://tv.ign.com/articles/108/1088846p1.html

    I miss Rome :( I think it's time for a re-watch.

As for Spartacus, I heard too many bad things to rank it high in my 'to watch' list.

Yeah, but all the bad things I heard came from people who judged it off of a trailer, or only watched the very first episode.

Oh ya, rome was so awesome. The characters were all great and realistic (human).
I really wish they would do another one, maybe set it during another significan time in roman history.

Do you mean another TV series similar to this or a continuation of spartacus?

Do it. It's got two seasons and is an HBO/BBC production. And it kicks all sorts of asses.

NOOOOOOO  Cry Cry Cry He was so good in the show.

No, I mean like a rome season 3.

The series was too expensive for HBO hence cancelled. If you noticed that they even skipped out on many large battles and just kept the drama going. The cost of the show was about $800,000 per episode.

Sparticus overall is an excellent show. Violence, Tits, romance there is something for everyone. The plot gets better as the series progresses. the first episode was just a quick background on the guy and his hot ass wife. After that its all about his escape and life as a gladiator.
