     OP - May 16, 2010, 06:04 PM

Apparently people in protest to recent violent exhibition of free speech regarding Muslims and drawings of Muhammad, people all around the world are going to draw pictures of Muhammad.

After Comedy Central cut a portion of a South Park episode following a death threat from a radical Muslim group, Seattle cartoonist Molly Norris wanted to counter the fear. She has declared May 20th "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day."

I think I'll draw one, just for this thread.  Or wherever, seeing as I currently don't have facebook anymore and if I posted it on there all the muslims would declare war against me...a lone little girl.  whistling2

Some groups & pages on Facebook by Muslims protesting this event:

Funny thing is, Facebook and social networking sites are themselves declared HARAAM by the fatwa of some Egyptian scholar (there's some article about it somewhere, too tired to look for it right now Tongue) Plus Facebook, Google etc. were all made by Jews and are run by all sorts of western infidels, kafirs, jews, christians, pagans, and atheists. Thank you! Interesting, I must have typed in the wrong words to locate it.

    Up to 29,761 ...

I don't mean to be a part of this in terms of forming division, more out of tough love. Muslims have to learn that it is not a right to not be offended. And I know many of them agree to this. It's just about changing a minor mindset. Nothing more, nothing less.

Once again proving to the entire world that juvenile squealing is in fact the only tool that some of these people posses (other than, of course, fear). They really do make it so much funner and much more tempting to draw Mohammed, any artist, intellect or comedian is going to pounce on a taboo like this. I think Muslims can expect Mohammed to appear much more often in drawings and cartoons, and there's nothing they can do about it other than to grow up... act like a child and you'll end up being treated like a child, and that is the real world...

I think they are just advertising their own vulnerabilities.

This is superficial stuff - if people really started disseminating the stuff Mo was all about and what he did and how he is intrinsic to Islam and how his obscenity is praised and marked as 'sunnah' it would lead to a popular revulsion against Mo and Islam on a scale never seen before.

A few pictures is nothing compared to that.

How will they stop the truth coming out about all that, as it slowly and surely will, because they cannot censor or bully the internet into silence in the way that Muslims always have controlled debate and discussion of Mo throughout history? The internet and the free and open flow of information on it is going to fuck Islam up so badly its unreal.

What are people's odds on backlashes to all this, if any?

I hope it just blows over and they really learn. I'd give it a 30-1 some nut targets Mark Zuckerberg who must be loving this for lifting Facebook's profile as a tool to give people power over religious creeds.

Oh, it's a gem of understand the minds of Muslims, myself included.

    Tony Blair said it once.
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/5144438.stm

    Quote
Mr Blair told MPs: "If we want to defeat the extremism, we have got to defeat its ideas and we have got to address the completely false sense of grievance against the West.

Basically, just as when I was 14/15 and would wake up to see bombing of Iraq on the first day of Ramadan (because Saddam kicked out UN inspectors) I felt rage inside me. As I did also for Palestinians. If a guy died in timbuktoo I wouldn't care as much, but Islam develops this false sense of link between Muslims that otherwise would not exists. Hence it explains all the attacks on Jews in Europe when Palestinians are attacked by Israelis.

Trust me, it used to work on me!  015

Edit: Mentally I mean to say, it never lead to any physical actions. And you can be sure 90% of moderate Muslims suffer from this, I think.

ah right it's like saying 9/11 was wrong but BUT what about all the muslim children being murdered every day?

OK. But how would you argue against what I just wrote?
