i don't think that beleiveing in the trinity or saying jesus is the son of God is shirk. unless i'm mistaken the Quran does not strictly consider these to be shirk (my guess is because the both still involve beleif in the one true creator). i also do not beleive there is any abrogation within the Quran (when abrogation is mentioned in the Quran, it is refering to earlier scriptures).
therefore there appear to be contradictory statements in the quran regarding what happens to unbeleivers etc. But i do strongly hold the opinion that verses that say unbelievers or people who reject Muhammad well definately go to hell was specific to people who heard the word directly from the Prophet. This might perhaps be because it would be easy to recognise a messenger of God if he was indeed the messenger of God, these people therefore rejected the truth after having come to know it (this is what the word 'Kuffar' actually means). Therefore this apparent contradiction is solved if one holds the veiw that unbleivers who direclty rejected Muhammad are considered Kuffar/coverers of the truth, whereas those who did not directly hear the word of Muhammad or were not present when the Quran was being revealed, are not. Therfore yes, the woman in the video could easily be forgiven according to this interpretation.
“Those who believe (in the Qur’an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”

all you have to do to be considered Muslim by God is beleive in the one true creator and beleive in his judgement.
i would also just point our regarding shirk - although the Quran does say that shirk is not forgiven by God, it does not say that these people are definitley destined for hell.
i admit i am thinking outside the box, but i beleive these are valid interpretations.
