    Hey, DS. The holdup is on my end now. We actually have the finished edited version, and I'm just getting it into the right format and trying to fix some the Arabic that went crazy when I transferred it into my program.

    Unfortunately, I started working 12 hour shifts and 7 days a week like right after I started this project so it's been much longer than I thought it would be and Hassan has been a saint. There's only maybe ten hours of work left to do, and I'll be doing my best to finish it up this weekend. Then it'll be published whenever Hassan gets it uploaded.

    That's excellent news, I'm glad to hear that you are so far with this.

    Honestly, all is left for me is to give you the ISBN number that Namzie gave me, and the domain www.myordealwiththequran.com that I purchased.

    Finally, for the Arabic, if you haven't noticed already that some of them are actually images, not text.

    Good luck with the rest of the work, and if you guys still need some help, I'll gladly offer!

    Thanks, DS. Much appreciated. As for the Arabic, we actually didn't wind up using what you had uploaded, and started from scratch. It's just a word conversion ordeal and I'll have it fixed up soon.

    I have heard a lot of praises about this book. Unfortunately cannot read it myself because it is not in English. This book was banned In Pakistan.
    I think this might be because the government in my country was scared that people would read and then understand that the book they have been following all their life is nothing but holding them back. It is "supposed" to be a way of life but in reality it snatches away the freedom of the people.

    Do you think we should get it published professionally and sell it for a relatively small price.

    We can make it so all the proceeds from the money can go towards the Council of Ex Muslims of Britain.

    Or towards maintaining the forum at least.

    Since it was written by someone else, I imagine there are certain legal issues with that. And the forum is probably about £30 a year, we can cover than by donating less than a dollar/pound at Christmas (I think it's around Christmas the yearly bill pops up).

    Legal issues aside, this is Hassan's project and he's made the decision to distribute it for free.

    We want to try to make a kindle version which necessarily has to be something like $0.99 for Amazon to even bother hosting it, but the PDF will be available free of charge and probably will be the best bet for most people.

    I know this is a bit of an old post, but just downloaded the book and wanted to send a shout out to Hassan.

    Hey Hassan,

    Thank you very much for translating it.  As a non Arab its frustrating when sources are in Arabic only. 
    Im only half way through the book, but i provides an excellent counter narative to scholars who are quick to put everyone else down because they do not understand Arabic and are not classically trained.

    Also as an english/urdo speaker I  have to rely on online translations, and as you pointed out in one of your recent videos some of these sources are being sanitised when they are translated into english, like the Mary the Copt episode being omitted from the english translation of the Tafseer of Ibn Kathir
