Mohammed was probably Schizophrenic, however nobody understood Schizophrenia in the 7th century like we do in modern times. In recent times Schizophrenics who believed gods/angels/spirits were talking to them, were given anti-psychotics and those gods/angels/spirits disappeared.

Epileptic seems to fit better (in my opinion), if we're to assume Mo existed.
