    Yes that is the show, and no the music was not the main theme, but it was played frequently and I just loved it Afro

    By the way every single male in the Arab world was in love with the female actress. And every female was in love with the male actor.

    I heard that Tourism from the Arab world to Turkey jumped more than 100% after the show. Cheesy

    Aziz I thought you were talking about the classic guitar tune that I used to spicy up Nessrin's poem. But the one in the video you posted is the main theme they used in the arabic MBC channel. Viewed by 100s of millions of people during ramadan. But without the lyrics. The lyrics was added later by a new coming Iraqi singer who shooted to fame after this song. He was clever to use this show to launch his career.  Afro

    hey nesrin, I do agree you are a breath of fresh air to this forum. When we bought our son back home from the hospital after he was born I sang the same lullaby to him - although the lyrics were a little different lol

    I am sorry, I have a channel that has few videos, however I can not reveal it as it has details that I would rather not show it here. I will try to record something maybe MP3 to show off some riffs and solo tunes with my Fender.  Punk

    I have a custom built Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi) Stratocaster that I am proud of. Well I should be casue it costed me an arm and a leg... Cheesy

    Turkish film series? Meh. There are practically thousands of them, and new ones get made all the time. I never really liked them. Watching them kills my brain cells. But It's not like I watch Turkish television or any other programs anyway. lol Tongue

    God! This Turkish soap operas "fever" caught everywhere in the Arab world. There are just so many of them.
    My grandma noticed something which is that actors very rarely repeat. She wondered if all the Turks did was acting.  Cheesy

    We seem to be getting some of these dubbed series "fevers" every now and then. It was dubbed Mexican soap operas in the late 90s and now this.

    Yeah, streets get almost empty at the time it's showing.  wacko

    I did watch it partially tbh, I couldn't ignore the hype, but it seriously got redundant after the 3rd time they had an argument with each other. The whole series is preparation for the next time they argue and get mad at each other.

    My grandma watched it every time it is showing on TV including the reruns on different TV channels. Yet she can't quite remember the plot when you ask her.  Cheesy Cheesy

    I think he's great too. Nessrriinn, have you ever thought of adding the words during your vids (like he did in Storm) as I sometimes find it difficult to absorb all your poetry at the pace you read it at (although you need to read it at this pace otherwise it would disturb its natural flow and seem forced)

    - also like Ribs said and the Storm,  you might want to experiment with a background sound too..

    OK - you inspired me to write a poem Nesrin  Afro

    Dear Allah

    I hope you get this letter, as I'm in a great deal of doubt.

    I don't get your Divine Plan, what's it all about?

    There you are, before a creation to fill

    Nothing but Allah, he, himself and his will,

    Perhaps you were lonely, though even then you knew.

    You'd create angels, to obey and worship you.

    Maybe this wasn't enough, you were not amused,

    But why you created Satan, just leaves me bemused

    You gave man a mind and a freewill to choose

    Then demanded he believe in irrational, contradictory clues

    While keeping yourself hidden from all verification

    Threatening torture if we don't prostrate in supplication

    You sent prophets and books to a patch of land

    And miracles galore to that sacred area of sand

    But before man can scientifically record and corroborate

    You decide communications must now mysteriously terminate

    You say you are testing mankind - to see who is true

    Though saint and sinner, you already knew

    But worse than this is the consequence of this test

    It's results are iniquitous - perverse at best

    Those, who accept on faith, myths handed down

    Will enjoy eternal bliss and never have to frown

    While those who insist on reasoning with their brain

    Will be sent to the fire of Hell to suffer eternal pain

    Dear Allah none of this makes sense to me

    Please tell me if there is something I've failed to see

    And I don't understand when so many suffer and die

    What is the reason - I cannot see why?

    Was it a test for the baby, her father or mother

    Or was she sacrificed to test someone other?

    When you planned all this did you count every tear

    Was your ultimate purpose that we tremble in fear

    And when all are in Heaven or Hell - as dictated by fate

    Will you sit back on your throne to shouts of "Allah is Great"
