Dangerous game:  Imran Khan Marching  into Red Zone with women, children  says news

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyhjCswbmAY

    Quote
PTI sources have said that women and children will be included in the march towards areas guarded by riot police, paramilitary forces, containers and barbed wire.

K-P Minister Shaukat Yousafzai confirmed that women and children would march in the second row, right behind key PTI legislators and Imran Khan. The PTI Youth Wing would follow behind the women. When questioned about the inclusion of women and children, Yousafzai said the march would be peaceful, and the women and children were being placed in the centre for their safety.

Firebrand Qadri tells supporters to move into Red Zone  says news

    Quote
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri announced the advance of the “peaceful” protest onto Constitution Avenue and in front of Parliament – right inside the Red Zone. He said the advance would begin as soon as permission was received from authorities.

“Promise no violence…no militancy,” Qadri appealed to his cheering crowd of supporters. Delivering a speech to an enraptured audience, the PAT Chief justified moving into the Red Zone, narrating how both the PPP and PML-N had held protests in front of Parliament. The speech was a combination of calls for "discipline" and calls for "vengeance".

Qadri claimed yet another PAT supporter had died in hospital today after being targeted in Gujranwala. “If we don’t get revenge for their blood, would you like to return?” Qadri asked a highly charged crowd that yelled “No!”.

Qadri then asked the crowd whether they would prefer to protest in front of Parliament house in the Red Zone, to which his supporters yelled, “Yes!”. “Should the government stay, or go?” asked the PAT chief, which was met with loud cries of “Go Nawaz go!”  The PAT Chief reiterated the standing demand for the arrest of the Sharif brothers for “murder, planning and involvement” in the Model Town tragedy.

Pushing the crowd into a frenzy, Qadri shot out question after question in hypnotic rhythm, slamming the government, the PML-N and the existing setup, as well as outlining the PAT ideological viewpoint. “You don’t want to go back? Are you sure? You want a national government? You wan’t these rulers to go? Do you want accountability? Do you want to forgive them? Or arrest them? Do you want implementation of the 12 point agenda? Yes or no? Do you want terrorism to end or not? Do you want extremists and terrorists to stay in our country? Yes to terrorism or no to terrorism?”

The PAT chief called on the government to remove all containers, and asked security forces not to create "bloodshed" in Islamabad. Instructing his supporters multiple times to remain peaceful and disciplined, he said any violence that erupts would be the security forces' fault.

What is the most blatant lie taught through Pakistan textbooks?

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.

I remembet once reading in a textbook that muslims never lie.
The education system in Pakistan is fucked up. I hear stories stories of people who instead of going to Uni, end up buying fake degrees because it is cheaper and you get a job easily... Roll Eyes

There was also a politician who had fake degrees, cant remember his name.

Well it was a Urdu-English translation book which had that sentence lol
Yeah, a school text-book. Maybe the author meant "muslims should never lie"
Anyway, my point is that the education is generally biased there.

People's mandate stolen in 2013 elections, says ex-ECP additional secretary

Former ECP additional secretary Muhammad Afzal Khan. -File Photo
    Quote
ISLAMABAD: Former additional secretary of the Election commission of Pakistan Muhammad Afzal Khan has alleged that the general elections in May 2013 were rigged and that the people's mandate was ‘stolen’. He said that former chief justices Iftikhar Chaudhry and Tassadduq Jillani were also involved in rigging the vote.

Khan made the allegation during an interview on a private television channel, in which he said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif did not win the elections in a free and fair manner. He said during the interview that the Chief Election Commissioner Justice (retd) Fakhruddin G Ebrahim had shut his eyes on the rigging.

The former additional secretary said that the Election Commission had been put under tremendous pressure during the alleged rigging. Khan said that judges were also involved in fixing the vote and that hearings of voter fraud was deliberately delayed.

Reacting to the interview, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran khan commended Afzal Khan and said that the former additional secretary's remarks vindicates the stand that he has been taking. Imran Khan said that Afzal Khan's statements show that the position for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was untenable and again reiterated his demand that the premier resign.

That is  very strong support from the  2013  Election commission of Pakistan to Imran Khan's allegations

    Quote
Former Law Minister Rana Sanaullah dismissed Afzal Khan's remarks and said, "people like this are specially prepared for occasions such as this".  Sanaullah said that Imran Khan's protest movement has been a flop and that Afzal Khan like the PTI chief was being used as a pawn.

And THAT CROOK IS THE MOST DANGEROUS GUY in Punjab politics..

    Kharra Sach - 24 August 2014 - ( Afzal Khan Shocking Exposed RIGGING) (P2), 24th Aug 2014 11 to 12
    Quote
LAHORE (Dunya News/Web Desk) – Former Election Commission Pakistan (ECP) additional ‎secretary Muhammad Afzal Khan made startling revelations about rigging in 2013 elections and ‎alleged that justice (r) Riaz Kiyani and former chief justice Ifthikhar Chaudhry was responsible ‎for disrupting the elections.‎

Khan has opened a Pandora’s Box by boldly claiming that people’s mandate was stolen in the ‎‎2013 elections, adding that Kiyani was majorly responsible for corruption. Khan alleged that Ifthikhar Chaudhry appointed returning officers instead of the ECP and ‎Tasaduq Hussian Jillani was part of the great game as well.‎

The former additional secretary rhetorically said that how Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar knew ‎that votes were unverifiable even though they were sealed.‎ Afzal Khan claimed that election tribunal’s integrity has been compromised, as they have been ‎bribed by undue favors. He endorsed Imran Khan’s rigging claims.‎

Afzal Khan alleged that former chief election commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim had ‎overlooked the colossal rigging on purpose, as he was terrified of ‎whistle blowing.

Secularism can not  be a part of ISLAMIC REPUBLICS Skywalke., both  have political philosophies and they oppose diametrically with each other . I would consider a nation as secular when a non_Muslim guys  gets elected through public vote to the highest offices of a country  where Muslim population is more than 80%   and same thing goes to the countries that have less than 20% Muslim population yet elect Muslim guys to the highest offices

I meant as in parties that partake in the elections to eventully change the constitution from a religious to a secular one. Or are they prohibited by law...I know that it would be very dangorous for any secular party when the Taliban is around, but is it prohibited by law and are there such parties.

Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif goes to Turkey  While his brother Chief Minister of Punjab  Shahbaz  Sharif goes to  China,  says news

    Quote
ISLAMABAD: Amid a barrage of accusations and political agitation, the PML-N chief is set to leave for Turkey today (Thursday) to participate in the inauguration of Recep Tayyip Erdo?an in the presidency, his most favourite ally in the Muslim nations.

Officials at the foreign ministries of Pakistan and Turkey confirmed to Daily Times that the embattled premier will touch down in Ankara. Ironically, both the Sharif brothers will be out of the country over the next couple of days. Shahbaz Sharif is already on an official visit to China. The duo continues to take unfavourable domestic scene lightly. It is learnt that Turkey’s three times premier and now president-elect has been one of the foreign leaders to speak to Nawaz Sharif to express support during the ongoing crisis.

However, reports said he has gone to get support for his brother's PML-N government which is under pressure from the protesters led by Imran Khan and cleric Tahir-ul-Qadri.

mysmilie_977 a PML-N leader said on condition of anonymity. China and Pakistan both consider each other "all weather" allies.

I hope they didn't leave the country by giving some underhand suggestions to their underground supporters .. That will put these political strikes in danger..

I just don't get the idea of leaving the country now when everything is at stake .. Well then don't come back ....  Let Imran Take over and  change the course..
