    Yes. My father died on June the 11th of this year. So 2016 has shaped up to be quite the shitty year for deaths.

    Sorry to hear that man. I know we don't speak much but if you ever feel like stringing a few random profanities together, my inbox is open.

    A. I lack the motivation to be disciplined in all honesty. It's awkward because I don't really get the idea of motivation. I used to have a military routine where I'd get up at 4am and have a very cold shower, and then workout. I miss it and I need it back. I never felt better, had little anxiety and had a stronger drive to do menial things.


    Q. How do you engage in catharsis?

    I go to the gym and pick up heavy things and slam them to the ground. For those few minutes, I feel that I can conquer the world.

    Took a few punches fom this Polish guy I spar with.

    Gym used to momentarily mask my depression, but it doesn't anymore. Fighting is where l've always felt best. The opposite of depression isn't happiness, it's vitality. Try taking a few hard shots to the body or face, it won't take too long before that fight or flight feeling kicks in. You can't help but feel alive.

    I'm going to push forward because I apparently have a lot of "natural" boxing talent. Whatever the fuck that means.

    Learning how to swim. It's fucking awesome. I'm still not there yet, and have a lot of improvement left. It's rather like being a kid again, learning to ride a bike or something. Just amazing.

    How often do you get hit on, and how do you tend to respond?
