I have never been a Muslim, but I have nothing but respect for ex-Muslims. I want to support you guys in any way I can. I have been lurking here for awhile, and I send the link to this forum to any ex-Muslims I come across.

You don't judge the development of science, democracy or any other human endevour within a single vacuum and say that this is the unbreakable mould from which it was born and thus can only be judged.

Did Nazi ideology also evolve? Islam will never evolve because Muslims consider the Quran to be the perfect word of God and Muhammad to be the most impeccable man in the world. For them to evolve, they would have to admit that the religion is not 100% perfect thus nullifying the claim that the Quran is the perfect and final word of Allah. No true believer of Allah would dear to even consider the chances of the religion of Allah to be flawed.

(Quran 5:3) "This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion."

For Islam to evolve, this verse would have to be rendered false.

Nazism is a political ideology that was very specific to its time though aspects of it HAS evolved from fascist ideology and subsequently been morphed in to other ideologies, in diluted lite form given the opposition to it. Look Stormfront and other silly white power movements. That you link Islam to nazism is beyond duh!

Yes, Muslims believe in God and Muhammad but you forget a lot of things. Just as I, as a Brit have voted Labour, I don't know all of their policies nor I live my life according to labour policies and values. Have you heard of identity politics? More a lot of Muslims how many do you think they know about the life of Muhammad and Quranic/scholarly interpretations beyond the superficial acquaintance with it. You need to perch yourself on a branch bird and stop airbrushing Muslims and thinking that Islam is immutable.
