    The Agnostic Muslim Facebook Group

We are Muslims who came together because of our shared skepticism and/or rejection of the idea that the Qur'an is an infallible document, and that Muhammad was the perfect example for mankind. This does NOT mean we reject them as as irrelevant or bad, it simply means that we see them as a part of our proud history as Muslims. We believe that their legacies contain much wisdom, in addition to much that is temporal and man-made in nature. Despite this view, we remain Muslims, and our appreciation for Islam is rooted in our ability to examine and discuss it from a critical perspective.

hmm..  That Hall looks very good., may be bit more windows needed.,  now it is time build an  Agnostic Muslim Mosque   with that structure and start doing Dawah to  train  Muslim Rascals who preach Islam in Mosques.. Specially in land of pure, land of sand and from that land of pharaohs..

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything
I renounced my faith to become a kafir,
the beloved betrayed me and turned in to  a Muslim

    Woooow.

Good suggestion yeez. I mean if agnostic muslims would do critical-thinking / rational dawah to mosques, that would change so much that is bad about muslim community.

Would love to read and participate in discussions on there, but I don't have a facebook account. Is there any possibility you could make the group public (then people without facebook account can at least read it)? Smiley

Hello Helaine .,  Not only  it will  change  the Muslim community but it will also do a world of good by educating  those  Non-Muslim right wingers who bash Muslim folks just because of their birth and name,  irrespective of whether they are following literal Islam  or not.

And I am sure it will do world of good to fucking Zebras..

Hassan, have you ever heard of the bishop Shelby Spong? He's got a similar movement but in Christianity. I think you might be interested in his works, especially the ones refuting scriptural literalism.

I would like to, but many members want it to be hidden from prying eyes. We've already had one member "outed" and it caused him/her a lot of problems.

Nothing is 100% safe. Someone could also threaten you by PM here too. You can block them and report them and also Admins on the group will block them from the group.
