I'm not from a Muslim background, but a culturally Christian one. I have immense sympathy for your uniquely challenging experiences of leaving the religion you were brought up with (or perhaps converted to).

You guys, Maryam Namazie, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and reformers such as Maajid Nawaz, are deeply inspiring, and heroes for having the courage to be yourselves despite considerable present or potential opposition from some quarters.
