Why are so many still claiming Islam is the fastest growing religion? We know the fastest is agonist, atheist and depending on where you are Christianity. So is it the birthrate? I notice that some Muslim countries have low or higher depending on where they are have birthrate and yet when they are living in places like UK 3-4 children and the immigration causing what looks like a big growth but more are leaving or are they? I mean it's rather interesting we all know the majority is agnostic but most still state this or that religion . SO what is the truth

Probably to do with the birth rate, but hopefully Islam will slowly become watered down with the new generation of teens, well in the west atleast. My daughter went to this cocktail bar in our city a couple of days ago and she was surprised to see in there many hijabi women drinking and socialising with the drunks lol.. they probably had mocktails though, but atleast they were out there mixing, it is great to see these gradual changes.

Well as long as they have freedom to do what they like to do.. such as sipping beer in a bar or putting on hijab or even burqa/niqab in their prayers places or inside their home(NOT ON BUS) ..that should be fine

Just is good to see muslim women out there mingling with people freely in those forbidden places lol, even if they are wearing hijab, which is their choice lol, who cares if they wear it, so long as they feel free.. better to be mixing and socialising, than confined to four wall of their homes, ashamed of their Islamic attire, good for them.. I was the same when I was a muslim, the hijab didn't stop me from doing most things.. : )

Technically none of those are religion except for Christianity, which is losing numbers in the developed world. However yes if put into a demographic the non-religious are growing in numbers in a few places.

If Christianity is not in decline it is because of Sub Saharan birth rate. But it is in decline in the developed countries as bogart rightly put it.

Islam on the other hand is growing and growing fast whatever you liked or not. It's basic demography. Islam is much more powerful than Christianity also.

In what respects it is much more powerful nbhb? And as far as growth is concerned, I already said, there are plenty of BABOONS HAIR OR MY HAIR grows as fast as Islamic faith heads or faster than them .... big deal........... I just need PROPER scissor or razor., that is all what need to cut the hair down and to cut them to size..

That is not a big deal.. it is the politics.... national/local/international politics in combinations with these fucking faith heads of Islam or otherwise, that includes other faith heads.. that is a problem..

well they are people they are as good as you or me., it is just that cultural/home/community/religious control that makes Muslim women converted or otherwise to act a bit conservative.. But as you said " it is OK".. it is individual interest in dress code,,

well some are not ashamed of their Islamic attire...... Some...they just like it......, that should be fine.. Look at them as Nuns in Church.. lol..

ha! .. they look like women in Burqa.. well open faces no veils.... but who knows the origins of burkha may be an extension of nuns dress code to Muslim women folks..

Islam is more powerful as a religion, system whatever it is, because it defends itself way better from apostasy, from criticism, from western ideas, etc. All these through fear. And it works. It's very successfully in obstructing people to acquire education, wealth and poor and uneducated people make more children. In the 21st century, when all religions should decline, Islam is doing better.

Actually most of the Islamic pop is because of the high birthrates not converts. Even Pew has this. Most of the high birth rates are is certain parts of Middle East and in most who move in other countries like U.K have 3-4 children. We also have closet people who left Islam but don't want anyone to know

Christianity is doing well in the sub Sahara as well as in China. Its holding constant in Latin America but declining in Europe and slightly in North America. I would like to know more data from your research project. Per country, other religions, future projections. Of course if you can share some of these info.
