Obama genuinely has a sense of humour, so rare in politicians. Erdogan's sense of humour is on a par with Trump's.

I think history will judge Obama quite well: got America out of recession, introduced universal healthcare, did not start any more wars, and that despite a dysfunctional Congress led by people who could only say "hell, no!"That is quite an achievement.

You are right about term limits, we could do with them in the UK. Maggie Thatcher and Tony Blair both went megalomaniac crazy at the end.
