Is it demeaning cause they highlighted the issue? The issue in my head is that Rape is wrong cause it isn't consensual and is harmful to the victim. The issue in your head might be that too, but I'd hazard a guess that unless a woman is being fucked by her husband she is automatically shameful even if it was forced upon her according to you. This shames her family as she has been sullied. No mate, she and her family were NOT sullied, she was tortured and they by permitting this documentary have refused to have their good name shamed by the acts of these brutes, they have stood by their daughter being innocent and still precious even in death. They have honoured her by refusing to be victimised by the shame/honour culture, and have stood up for women to be able to live without being tortured and hurt. Shame on you for thinking otherwise.

There is such a huge swathe of interpretations they may as well be different religions. The Quakers and Unitarians are very peaceful!
