Sorry for the delay using my phone... Well I'm tired of blind faith and seeking to justify and defend Islam from its own blemishes... And...err.. Yeah after a journey that lasted 2 years...i couldn't lie to myself anymore

oldham is the bastion of hatred of the apostates, its a terrible place to live with religious divisions sparked by islamic resentment of the unbeliever, that in turn sparks racial divisions, for we're asian (i'm Bengali) and they're white

Welcome, Trajan. Have a brand new parrot (it's not recycled from my welcome thread, honest!)  parrot

Sounds like Birmingham. No hang on, Birmingham is the bastion of hatred for other masjids. Everyone slagging everyone else off.

    Hi Trajan,

Welcome to the forum Smiley Good to have you here parrot

Do you have any friends IRL to talk to?

Do you have an escape plan to get out of the bubble or do you need help to create one?

Hi jrg and nickolaj... Escape plan... Well yeah I kinda do... Get a job... And then make enough money to leave this sultanate of Oldham... Possibly the entire country... But its a long term plan... My parents are very old and very conservative they live in the days of the scroll and are baffled by the mouse on the screen hovering over Microsoft word, the mouse on the screen to them looks like a game..it may sound cruel but I'm waiting for them to leave if you know what I mean..

    Hello Trajan,
Though I am very new here myself, I would still like to welcome you to the site.
I live about twenty-odd miles North West of you, but know Oldham quite well.  My Cousin was a Design Engineer at Ferranti many years ago, and I was a frequent visitor to the Chadderton area of the town.  I expect it has changed considerably over the last thirty or so years.
I will look out for your future posts.
    Kind Regards,
    Stephen.

Hello and welcome! I've never been to Oldham but Wikipedia tells me it has a fair chunk of Muslims which doesn't seem that much fun.

I've been to Manchester, if that helps :p . But yeah, it's full of Muslims so it must be quite hard for you. I live in a very Muslim/Asian city too which has so many problems (not because it's mostly Asian though, that'd be wrong of me to blame it on that) so coming out is something I could never think about doing
