Women should not laugh in public:  A TURKEY from Turkey says
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17xT4xsp6Ys
    Quote
Women should not talk about unnecessary topics on their mobiles, Turkey's Deputy PM Bulent Arınc says in an Eid al-Fitr speech   Women should not laugh out loud in public or speak of trivial matters on the phone, according to Turkish deputy prime minister, Bulent Arınc.

Mr Arınc urged men and women to remember the importance of chastity during an Eid al-Fitr meeting on Monday in Bursa, west Turkey, and to have an acute awareness of shame.

He attacked television programmes aimed at young people which encouraged them to become "sex addicts" to an audience which included a majority of men.

There is a moral regression happening within the country, he said, and called on citizens to rediscover the Koran, the holy book of Islam.

“Chastity is so important. It is not only a name. It is an ornament for both women and men. [She] will have chasteness. Man will have it, too. He will not be a womanizer. He will be bound to his wife. He will love his children. “A woman will know what is haram and not haram. She will not laugh out loud in public. She will not be inviting in her attitudes and will protect her chasteness,” Mr Arınc said.

And what do these Turkish women do as response?

    An islamic supermarket?

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

Like Asda or Tesco? I've never come across the like. Small places yes, not an actual supermarket.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.

This reminds me of a Facebook comment thread I came across in my Muslim days. In it, a "mama-figure" commenter had outlined a list of morals that were apparently missing from today's young Muslim girls.

Things like "you shouldn't be eating lollipops or Popsicles in public." "Don't run in public, walking is more modest." "Don't speak or laugh so loudly."

It rubbed me the wrong way back then, and I could never put my finger on it...

I'm surprised they only mentioned women and in public. Islam seems to frown on anything joyful or happy.
"O followers of Muhammad! By Allah, if you knew what I know, you would weep much and laugh little." [Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, #627]
It's such a depression inducing cult.

I am trying to drop these habits, of being invisible in public. I don't want my kids to pick up on it and I don't want to catch myself shushing my daughter unnecessarily.
I am glad I am naturally loud. It makes it easier.

"you shouldn't be eating lollipops or Popsicles in public."

This person must have a disgustingly dirty mind in order to make a girl eating a popsicle into something "dirty" and sexual. Like, wtf. Has she watched to many bad pornos where they do shit like that or what?

Islam is obsessed with sex. It's not surprising this is the result.

The Egyptian Muslim community is more perverted than any other. Chew loud enough and you're asking for a penis in your mouth. Don't wear a niqab and you're asking for it*

I don't think people generally adore the idea of a penis in the mouth that much outside of porn. Alas. Cry

You sure? I guess heterosexual males (or lesbians) would not be that fond of the idea, but the rest of us? Maybe you just met very rigid girls in the past Grin

Actually, on second thought, this is so common in the Ummah, I am not sure why it made the news. Everyone knows this, and I have rarely seen a Muslim mother NOT shush her daughter in public for laughing.
Most Muslim women I knew would laugh behind a hand in public. With barely any noise at all, and some did that as a matter of course, public or private.
I know there are some Muslim cultures where this is not an issue, but most of the circles I moved in understood not to make noise in public.

No makeup in church? Coptic Orthodox Bishop doesn't want ladies wearing lipstick or pants

Coptic Orthodox Bishop Bishoy of Damietta and Kafr El-Sheikh has banned Christian women in his diocese from wearing trousers, blouses and make-up in church to receive communion.

Signs have been put up at churches in the diocese stating: "In response to the decision of Bishop Bishoy of Damietta and Kafr El-Sheikh, all ladies and girls above the age of eleven should refrain from wearing trousers, blouses or make-up during the sacrament of holy communion in the divine liturgy, and they should wear modest dress."

Father Boulos Halim, spokesman for the Coptic Orthodox Church, told Al-Ahram Arabic news website that "each bishop has the right to take the decisions he see as suitable for the people in his diocese, as long as it is not against the Orthodox faith."

"Ladies should follow this decision inside the church only and not in their everyday life," added Halim.

This is not the first time that the bishop has triggered the anger of some Christian women.

In May 2012, he said: “I call on Christian girls to learn from veiled Muslim women with their modesty. Some Christian women might be displeased with me, but the Virgin Mary, Saint Demiana and the nuns wore modest clothes.”

A group of Christians protested at St Mark's Cathedral in central Cairo in response to the bishop's statements at the time, asking him to apologise

and that news has this picture at it..

I love  it, when bums get exposed from any and every so-called religion. What is a religion? It is JUST A NUMBER GAME., More than some million heads in a group, it is a religion., if the number of heads in a group are in 100s and 1000s., it is cult..

Well I guess the Coptic  priest may have a point with tight Pants in HIS CHURCH as it is hard to sit.,  BUT WHAT IS UP WITH LIPSTICK or Make up? didn't god's son like women with Lipstick??  Or god doesn't like that? or may be THE RASCAL  the priest doesn't like it because the guys gets distracted with good looking women with makeup?
